Day ONE!!!
Day one.
Whew. *Deep Breath*
If you are here and are reading this, THANK YOU! I have always enjoyed writing and thought that having a blog would be a really cool thing. Something I could look back on, to see my journey, something to share with others... in the hopes of inspiring just one person. Well, I got a bug up my butt yesterday and decided to bite the bullet and get it going. 7,392 hours later (seems like it anyhow...anyone else ever start a blog? You hear me.) here I am.... and a little nervous I won't do this right but, here goes.....
Hi! I am Joslin, a mom, a wife, and busy Team Beachbody Coach. When I was young(er), I was active and never had to worry about weight issues or nutrition or fitness. In my 20s, I got married and had two amazing little boys. I put myself LAST, as most moms do. I was so disappointed in myself. How did I get to this point? I used to ask myself. I was over weight, and eating very unhealthily. That changed a little over a year ago (back when I wish I would have started my blog) when I was reintroduced to Beachbody. I dove in head first with Shaun T's T25 program. It is a 25 minute DVD workout program that was perfect for me... as a busy mom, how was I going to EVER find the time to get to a gym?! But 25 minutes at HOME? You bet I was all over that. I got results. Crazy results. I felt AMAZING. And all I could think is that I wanted other people... like EVERY other person on this planet to feel how I felt. I became a coach and never looked back! Since then, I have done multiple rounds of T25, as well as P90X3 and PiYo which are ALL amazing!
That is the short end of the story. I won't bore you with all the nitty gritty details just yet. But I will tell you, to date, I have lost a total of 38 lbs and have gone from a size 12/14 to a 2/4! I hope to share my ups and downs with health and fitness and clean eating with you, as well as the struggles and successes of being a stay at home mom. I will occasionally go into "business mode" to share all of Beachbody's amazing products because there is something for EVERYONE, but for the most part I just want you to know that whatever your fitness level or "diet", we are all in this together. I hope that you can learn from me, and I can learn from you. My main goal is to just inspire. If I only ever inspire one other person, then I will count that as a success!
So, for now.... welcome to my blog (ahhhh!!!!) I hope that you will come back :)
