Well it has been a MINUTE since I last posted a blog here.
Sorry about that. It has been a crazy month... I'm not even sure how it can possibly almost be JUNE!? My kids are in their last week of school, my little guy "graduating" this Friday from preschool (cue giant mommy tears).
What are your plans for this summer? I was really excited about my kids being done for a few months but now I am starting to wonder what we are going to do all summer. I feel like I have already started summer break. My boys have been home with me more than they have been at school this month between being sick, having family in town and being out of town for a destination wedding. I was ready for them to go back to school today after the long Memorial Day weekend, but I still have my older one home with a fever.
All of this fun we have had this month has come with lots of overindulging. Blech. I just feel ... gross. I have been eating crap and drinking way too many adult beverages. Have you been there? Did you have a little too much fun over the holiday weekend? Well multiply that by 10 since I have basically been doing this ALL MONTH LONG. And I am DONE.
I gained a couple pounds, I am tired and I feel like a SLUG. I made a decision the other day to do something I said I would never do. But then again, there are lots of things I have done over the past year that I said I would never do... like doing the 21 Day Fix Extreme meal plan because I thought my eating was *good enough*... it was not. Like writing a crappy blog post... this one, in case you were wondering... is that crappy one. I am just OUT OF IT.
I am off.
I am mad at myself for the overindulging.
But I also know that it is temporary. I fell off my healthy wagon. Time to get back up on it.
So back to the thing I thought I would never do. I ordered the 3 Day Refresh yesterday. I have recruited some other people who want a good detox to do it with me and we will be supporting each other and motivating each other through the three days in a private Facebook group that I have created.
I would love to have YOU join us too. Anyone can do 3 days. If I can do the 21 Day Fix for... well, 21 days, I can certainly do the 3 Day Refresh to help me rid myself of the toxins and water weight I have hanging on.
What in the world is the 3 Day Refresh?
Well, the 3 Day Refresh is a 3-day program of specially formulated shakes, healthy snacks, and delicious and easy to prepare meals that have been scientifically designed to help you lose weight and break the cycle of bad eating while dramatically improving the way you feel.

Well, I am EXCITED! I have never done a cleanse before, but I can tell you... I NEED it. I can feel it in my body. I am done being a SLUG... I am ready to go back to being ME :)
